One Friday, my tastebuds decided they wanted to have Goldilock's fresh lumpia and dinuguan. Happy Tappy readily agreed for this was one of the few times when we didn't have to spend oodles of time thinking where to eat, what to eat.
So off we went to Goldilocks and with the place usually packed with people, we were able to secure seats fast. Lucky me. :) While tap was at the counter ordering our food, here comes a family of three - Little Boy, Daddy, and the pasosyal Mommy. They sit beside our table.
So the Daddy went to the counter to order food. The Little Boy and the Mommy left behind beside me. I normally don't mind other people's business, let alone listen to their convos, but I couldn't help but listen to the pasosyal mommy trying ever so hard to speak english. "You make this ano", "Hey, you make behave". In almost all of her sentences, and evident "ano" can be heard.
The little boy, was playing around our table. Medyo makulit ang bata, mind you. And sa sobrang kalikutan nya, nasagi nya ang table namin. Nakakawindang ang bata pero mas nawindang ako sa Mommy:
Pasossy Mommy: "Stop that, you're brothering them!"
All I could do was smile to myself and think "Oh brother!" (ooohhh i'm so mean!)
