Aug 20, 2006 Today i am... -March 17, 2008 Posted by cessy on Jul 29, '08 9:58 AM for everyone Finally! After 2 days..I've finally finished my new theme for my multiply. Since last week I've been thinking of what my theme will be. My choices were: 1) A collage of my favorite things 2) Gossip Girl 3)The Beatles Obviously, I didn't choose any of the above. Well lately, naglalaro ulit ako ng Ragnarok (pero private server nalang). And yun, yesterday naisip ko why not make a Ragnarok multiply theme. I used the base theme "Shadowbox" for both themes: Here's what my old theme looked like..which I called "Fashionista" theme. Before, it was so plain and simple. White background, gray text, and light purple links.♥♥♥
And here's my new theme, the "Alchemist" theme. Now, lots of colors? Not really.. I used mostly shades of gray and pink. Two of my favorite colors. I promise to make a Beatles theme..pero siguro pag sawa na ako sa new theme ko..or kapag sinipag na ako ulit.
Which looks better? The old or the new?
Posted by cessy on Jul 28, '08 3:12 AM for everyone Gaya nga ng sabi ni DJ Tado sa kanilang radio program nina DJ Angel (Erning) at DJ Ramon Bautista, "Lilindol ngayon.. lilindol ng kasinungalingan dahil sa SONA". Nakakatawa, oo, pero maaaring totoo nga.. err erase that.. TOTOO nga talaga. At ayon naman kina Korina at Ted sa kanilang radio program.. Si PGMA ang most promising president our country has ever had.. kasi puro promises lang ang binibigay. Corny? Perhaps..pero it's so satirically true. Ano naman kayang kasinungalingan ang ipapangako ng ating magaling na pangulo ngayon sa kanyang SONA? More P500 pesos ba para sa mahihirap? Di ba niya alam yung saying na "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." Ewan ko lang..parang napaka-ilogical ng mga naiisip niya. Only a nincompoop president would have thought of that. ( habang may tatsulok at sila ang nasa tuktok di matatapos itong gulo....)*Kung sa UP or PUP siguro ako nag-aral...malamang aktibista ako. Hehe!* Posted by cessy on Jul 26, '08 12:46 AM for everyone Lots of rumors have been flying all around the metro that this legendary band will make their fans sooooo happy by reuniting in a one night only concert. The Rumors:a) All four Eraserheads (for the uninitiated these are four guys named Ely, Raimund, Buddy, and Marcus) have signed up to perform for a one-night only reunion concert. b) The concert will be held on August 30, 2008 at the CCP grounds along Roxas Boulevard. c) The concert is sponsored by "a big company," who ponied up the big bucks to entice the eHeads to bury the hatchet and get together. d) The concert will be free. People will sign up on a website to win tickets. (from http://philmusic.com)Apparently, the "big company" being referred to here, is Marlboro. And some say that one can get tickets by registering to Marlboro's site - that means one has to be a SMOKER!! I say this is simply ridiculous! But I don't think it's true kasi 3 members of Eraserheads are non-smokers. If we are to be realistic..looks like Sony is behind this band's reunion. Nevertheless..... All these rumors came to an end when Ely Buendia confirmed the news himself that indeed, the Eraserheads will reunite!! The following message is from Villy Ray Villacorta posted on the Eraserheads mailing list - which sort of looks like the official announcement.. Yes it's true. It's been in the works for several months na. Marlboro is sponsoring this concert and paid each of the members a staggering P10M each to do a full 45-minute set. This is the official announcement:"No more blind items my dear friends. Yes. We are confirming it.There is no point denying:August 30, 2008 will be LEGENDARY!!!The country's most influential band ever will be reunited for ONE NIGHT ONLY.This once in a lifetime experience will be staged at the CCPopengrounds.Tickets are free and you can download it early August. Website to beannounced.ONE BRAND.ONE BAND.ONE NIGHT ONLY...ERASERHEADS REUNION CONCERT!"(from http://philmusic.com)Tap and I are so excited!! We wouldn't miss this for the world! Kaya lang..this is a fr ee concert..for sure, magulo ito. Bulto bultong mga people in black na naman ang dadagsa dito. Ohnoezzz!! But stillllll....... I'm so excited!! My birthday celebration was great! Just invited relatives over. Sayang di nakapunta yung ibang friends kasi it rained tapos may mga pasok pa sila. Separate blow out nalang daw sa kanila. Demanding! Food was yumyum. Meron baked mac, garlic bread, chicken, 2 ginormous 20" Monster pizza, tiramisu, and ice cream. ♥♥♥ My American boss asked me if I wanted to take a day-off on my birthday. Sabi ko wag nalang. Nakakatuwa kasi 15 mins before my birthday, my officemate from the US asked m e what time is it here. Sabi ko, 11:45PM. He said " 15 minutes moreeeeee!!". Then past midnight, they all had their YM status message set to " Happy birthday Anna!!". Then even the other employees from the US office greeted me a happy birthd ay. Nakakatuwa. ♥♥♥
Tap's sister is into selling beauty products and baking goodies. Gusto niya i-try ang online selling here in multiply. She wants her site customized and she asked me kung pwedeng ako ang mag-design ng site niya. Weeeeeeee! My first "client" kuno sa web design. I know this is not that big of a deal for some kasi hindi naman start from scratch yung gagawin ko. I just have to edit the pre-set themes here in Multiply. But still, for me this is a big deal. Finally..I can put to use na my CSS and design skills. Thanks Gly! ♥♥♥
I watched Wanted last week with Tap. Ang astig talaga ni Jolie. She's so beautiful. She's n ot really t he curvaceous type, pero she's so H-O-T. Ooooozing with sex appeal. Tawa nga ng tawa 'tong si Tap, para daw akong nati-tibo. Nooo! ♥♥♥
I really miss playing online games. I miss playing Ragnarok. Yun lang talaga yung online game na sobrang na-adik ako. I miss boss hunting, guild chats, WOE, quests, tambay sa Prontera. Right now, the only games I play are NFS Carbon and Dinner Dash sa PSP. I miss the in-game interaction with other people. I wonder kelan ilalabas ang Ragnarok Online 2. I'm really excited to see RO characters and monsters in 3D form! I wonder if cute pa din. Anyone knows how I'll be able to play this..kahit private server lang? Posted by cessy on Jun 27, '08 4:14 AM for everyone The Rules:
I. Each blogger starts with ten random facts/habits about themselves.
II. Bloggers that are tagged need to write on their own blog about their ten things and post these rules.
III. At the end of your blog, you need to choose ten people to get tagged and list their names.
IV. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they're tagged, and to read your blog. 1. I don't eat bananas. My mom said that even when I was a baby, I really don't eat banana-flavored baby food. Lots of people find this weird. 2. I am not a very religious person - meaning I don't attend mass regularly. Although I keep my faith and spirituality very strong. 3. I can spend the whole day in front of my computer doing nothing but blog hopping, forum reading, and reading just about anything I find interesting. 4. I am a self-confessed hypochondriac. Tell me repeatedly your head hurts..and in just a few minutes, i'd probably tell you that I, too, am having a headache, or worse, my brilliant mind might soon think I might be suffering from something more serious. Sweeet. 5. I loooooooveee shoes!! Enough said. 6. I am an online gamer -- Ragnarok (pRO and private servers), Gunbound, O2Jam, Perfect World, RF Online, Trickster Online, and now Cabal. 7. I am extremely terrified of spiders! Hate them! 8. I am a sentimentalist. I value things as much as I value people. I have a hard time getting rid of my stuffs even if I don't need them anymore. 9. I love to read. From entertainment gossip, news that matter, wikis, magazines, comics, novels, and even those texts at the back of shampoo bottles (yep, even those), i read them. Hehe! 10. I am a hopeless romantic. Even in this age wherein the traditional dating and the getting-to-know-you-better stage has been replaced with online dating and getting-to-know-you-better-through-friendster, facebook, myspace, and twitter, the thought of a candlelight dinner for two and that whole petals of roses scattered on the bed still highly appeal to me. *Sigh* I tag: IAN OR TIN, ELA, CON, DADS, JERNI, JEP, RICKY, MAI, KAT, ERIC Posted by cessy on Jun 22, '08 3:38 AM for everyone It's now signal number 3 here in Metro Manila. Frank!! Why oh why did you have to come on a weekend!?! I know I sound like a student here who wishes that typhoon Frank came on a weekday instead. I was supposed to go dress hunting today with Tap for my cousin's wedding which is coming up in two weeks, but due to the awful weather, I'm stuck here at home blogging while talking to Tap over YM. It's not a super duper formal wedding..so I'm looking for a dress that's not too fancy looking. I've searched the malls for dresses, but I can't find one that suits my taste. Anyhoo, here's what I picture the dress to be: (found this while browsing the net) http://store.delias.comThis one's so pretty. But I like this one a little shorter. Maybe knee-length or above the knee for me me is ok. Hehe I'm not tall kasi kaya I want it shorter para hindi ako mag-mukhang mas maliit.
http://www.edressme.comThis one's soo sexy and chic. The belt can help me hide my flabby tummy. Harhar! http://store.delias.comThis crinkled metallic dress with bubble hem is really feminine. Too girly I say. I can pull this off, but I think I'll look like a kid in this dress. http://www.edressme.comThis pistachio green dress is much like similar to the dress in the 2nd picture. Mas sexy nga lang ito. Hmm I wonder where I can find dresses similar to these.. Any ideas? ** News update: Classes are suspended for grade school and high school levels. UST and St. Scholastica, suspended na din. Advanced ang CHED ngayon ha..I bet tomorrow maaraw na. ** Posted by cessy on Jun 11, '08 10:57 AM for everyone | | I'm such a kid sometimes.. ^__^ |
Posted by cessy on Jun 10, '08 2:58 AM for everyone I'm still so hung over Kung Fu Panda. I really love this quotable quote from Master Oogway: "Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is mystery. Today is a gift, that's why it is called present."

Tomorrow is officially Kung Fu Panda day! I'll be treating my pamangkins out to watch this movie and they're so excited! I'm so happy! :)) Posted by cessy on Jun 3, '08 10:44 AM for everyone I found this easy to do recipe from Girltalk (Thanks to sis Pam!). Nasa mood ako magluto and tamang-tama, monthsary namin ni Tap so I decided to cook for him. For this recipe, you will need: 1 nestle all purpose cream 1/2 cup water 1 and 1/2 cans century tuna (Flakes in vegetable oil) - drained 1/2 bar cheddar cheese - grated (much better to use yung mga quick melt type na cheese) 2 cloves of garlic - minced 1/4 bar butter 1 pack of Noodles 250 grams - (spaghetti or fetuccine noodles is ok) Directions:1. Melt butter in pan over low fire. Once melted, wait 2 minutes and put the garlic. Fry til the garlic is golden brown. Add the tuna. Fry for 5 minutes over low-medium fire. Add the cream and the water and cheese. Mix altogether and continu e stirring for five-seven minutes (still over low fire) or til the cheese is all melted. *If not salty enough, you can add more grated cheese or patis, depends on your choice. 2. Cook Noodles separately. 3. Put desired amount of sauce onto the noodles and serve. You may add grated cheese on top. Very easy to prepare and so delicious!! Serves 5 - 6 persons. Posted by cessy on Jun 3, '08 3:27 AM for everyone Found an easy tuna fetuccine recipe. Will cook this later. More details later. Well, thanks to the girls of Gossip Girl especially Blair Waldorf (see below), the headband trend has hit Philippine shores. See, even Bianca Gonzales is following the trend.

So anyways, I was looking at some of my old photos and found what might have been the inspiration for Blair Waldorf's style. O ha! Ano sinabi ni Blair Waldorf dyan?? LOL!
Posted by cessy on Jun 2, '08 3:26 AM for everyone A LOT of things have been keeping me busy lately. Come to think of it, my last post here in Multiply was last April! My Blogger journal is more updated though..but I choose not to post its url yet because it's so disorganized! Argghh! I'm hating Blogger. I've tried editing my template, uploading a downloaded template from somewhere, but it just doesn't work. I guess I need to polish my XML, CSS skills more..boohoo.. Aside from my Blogger mishap, here's what's keeping me busy lately... re-opening of my online shop - looking for suppliers, keeping up with the latest trends, taking pictures of my items Gossip Girl - I love this show - the cast, the clothes they wear, the songs played in the series, the cat fights, Kirsten Bell's naration, and a whole lot more! I've watched the entire season 1 of GG. Thanks to Surf the Channel, I was able to watch the newest episode almost the same day as it's shown in the US. "You know you love me. xoxo, gossip girl." America's Next Top Model (Cycle 10) - though I don't like Tyra Banks, I've always been fascinated with fashion and the modeling industry, the makeovers, the clothes, and the photoshoots. I would have wanted Anya to win, but I guess Tyra wanted to create a buzz by making Whitney, a plus-size model win. Pfft! Teaching myself CSS - I've been learning about CSS and this template is proof of it. Going out with my friends - eat out, catch up on things Going on dates with Tap - dine out, tambay sa bahay, movie dates (the last we watched was Indiana Jones..the movie's fine until about near the end and we were both like "Ano? Alien??" Masyado na talaga hi-tech ngayon) Ohh.. Get well soon Tappy :( Work - this is what's keeping me busy the most. I'm a tech blogger, SEO, and internet marketer. Although I work from home and own my time, I still have deadlines to meet, projects to finish, bosses to please. Working from home may sound easy but sometimes it's not. Ang daming temptations around me! T.V., browsing non-work related sites, the bed, food, etc! It entails a lot of discipline and hardwork too, y'know. But I'm not complaining, especially since my employer just increased my rate and tumataas na naman ang dollar. Yipppeee! Posted by cessy on Apr 15, '08 11:35 PM for everyone I've been working on a new blog lately. I'm transferring my blog posts to a more "professional" blog platform. It's either blogspot or wordpress.. I've started to work on both..so I guess I'm keeping both blogs updated..but I think I'll focus more on my blogspot blog.Although I've decided to move on to a real blog platform, I won't be abandoning my Multiply account. I'm still keeping this para updated pa din ako sa mga friends ko dito. I won't be revealing my new blog address... tsaka na pag ok na ok na. Posted by cessy on Apr 7, '08 1:25 AM for everyone Posted by cessy on Mar 29, '08 12:25 AM for everyone Yesterday was my last day at work. I really can't say much...I've always been bad in saying goodbyes.Although I may have left this institution (Ibank), there are a lot of memorable things that I will forever hold dear:- IT department, 9th floor Ibank Head Office, Amorsolo. This where it all happened. The laughter, joy, tears, everything.- I remember how in CFL (Center for Learning), they would joke about ITMC having its own republic because we always had events of our own. - ITMC Christmas Party! I was lucky enough to have experienced this. This is one party where you can feel the real spirit of togetherness. Lahat kasama at lahat kasali. Whether contractual, outsourced personnel, our cool na cool na security na si kuya Orly, or our happy-go-lucky utility na si kuya Dante, lahat nakiki-celebrate sa spirit of Christmas.- Halloween Party! We all await this time of the year because of the cute little kids in their cutest Halloween costumes who bombard our building and say "Trick or Treat!!"- ITMC Merienda. Whether may birthday, nanalo sa contest, despedida, or simply just because meron may gusto magpakain, once we receive an email with something like this: "Merienda is now available at the pantry!!", hala, in less than 5 or 10 minutes siguro, ubos ang food. So much fun!- Ibank's Culture. Enough said.- Ibank Employees. The best breed of professionals under one institution. You can find them in Ibank. Well of course there are a few rotten apples, but nevertheless, majority of the employees are really the best you can find in the professional market.- The friends I made in Ibank. They are the reason why going to work is so much easier and fun. These guys (Ela, Myles, Sheng, Ian, Tin, Chisse, Zaldy, tito Macky) I will surely miss! :'(There are a lot more, but these are what comes to my mind now. It's so sad how the former IT department of Ibank is so close to the "brink of extinction". What used to be the fun, noisy, crazy group of 80 (or more i think), is now down to less than 20 (not sure about the count). Naubos na. But I refuse to think about it that way because there will always be one ITMC and sooner or later, magkikita-kita pa rin kaming lahat. :) Posted by cessy on Mar 25, '08 4:06 AM for everyone One Friday, my tastebuds decided they wanted to have Goldilock's fresh lumpia and dinuguan. Happy Tappy readily agreed for this was one of the few times when we didn't have to spend oodles of time thinking where to eat, what to eat. So off we went to Goldilocks and with the place usually packed with people, we were able to secure seats fast. Lucky me. :) While tap was at the counter ordering our food, here comes a family of three - Little Boy, Daddy, and the pasosyal Mommy. They sit beside our table. So the Daddy went to the counter to order food. The Little Boy and the Mommy left behind beside me. I normally don't mind other people's business, let alone listen to their convos, but I couldn't help but listen to the pasosyal mommy trying ever so hard to speak english. "You make this ano", "Hey, you make behave". In almost all of her sentences, and evident "ano" can be heard. The little boy, was playing around our table. Medyo makulit ang bata, mind you. And sa sobrang kalikutan nya, nasagi nya ang table namin. Nakakawindang ang bata pero mas nawindang ako sa Mommy: Pasossy Mommy: "Stop that, you're brothering them!" All I could do was smile to myself and think "Oh brother!" (ooohhh i'm so mean!) Posted by cessy on Mar 24, '08 3:28 AM for everyone 2 and a half hours nalang 6 o' clock na!! Uwian na yahoo!! Great... Posted by cessy on Mar 24, '08 12:00 AM for everyone It's my last five days here in the office and I can't wait 'til Friday so I'm officially resigned. I can't believe nakatagal ako dito. I mean it's been almost 4 or 5 months na petix kami eversince Ibank was bought by another bank (I do not wish to mention the name, baka sumikat pa eh). Once in a while, yes meron ginagawa, pero siguro 90% of the time, P E T I X kami. All of my close friends here in Ibank have resigned na din. Dalawa nalang kami ni Ela natira ngayon. Sabay dapat ang last day namin on Friday, pero I think until Wednesday nalang sya and terminal leave na yung Thursday & Friday. I would have done the same, the terminal leave I mean, but for some reasons, which again, I choose not to disclose here, I've decided to go to work until my last day. It's now Monday, Ela's on Leave. I'm all alone here. It sucks. Really. There are a lot of other people here in the office, pero parang wala lang din. We were transferred here September last year, but until now, we don't even know the names of the other employees here. We were not introduced to them, some of them di ko pa nakakausap kahit minsan, di ko pa nga narinig boses ng iba sa kanila. We (former ibankers) are 2nd class citizens here!! Kaya ngayon na wala ako kasama, nakakaloka. I might sound exaggerated, pero ganyan talaga ang feeling. Good thing I only have to endure this madness for 5 days more. Can't wait to get out of here!!
